iBasso presents the AMP17 marks a breakthrough as the first portable headphone amplifier to incorporate gallium nitride (GaN) technology. In the realm of high-end portable audio, GaNFETs outperform traditional MOSFETs and bipolar transistors with electron mobility reaching up to 2000 cm²/V·s. This allows for higher electron velocity and significantly lower conduction losses, especially at high frequencies, setting a new standard in speed, efficiency and performance.

iBasso AMP17 combines low internal resistance and output impedance with GaNFET technology to deliver high current output and precise control over low-impedance headphones. Note: 12V DC power input is only supported by DX340.
